Digital Universities Training (Open,Online Education and MOOCs) - Training event
Digital age affects the way we learn and educate in different ways. Emerging factors, such as globalization, accessibility of knowledge, time and pace of learning, changing characteristics of students, increasing competition in the academic world all affect universities across Europe. The needs to understand these changes, adapt or transform existing ways of teaching have impact on decision making level, pedagogical staff as well as students of the universities.
Open and online education may respond to some of the challenges described above.
In this five days training, with the help of experts and experienced speakers and through interactive, hands on sessions we will discuss and evaluate concrete needs and issues raised by the teachers and decision makers on the individual, institutional and cross institutional levels.
The training is open to all without costs. For staff and students of institutions that are partners of the SCORE2020 project a scholarships can be provided (UL trainees: 50 € and international trainees: 600 €). Those interested should state their interest to the organisers of this training
